Celebrating Uniko's 11th Birthday!

Hi there!

Come join me in celebrating UNIKO'S 11th birthday!

I used the Framed Balloons stamp set for my celebratory card. This stamp set is perfect when you need a quick birthday card because the stamp does all the work ! The only thing you have to think about is the colors you want to use and where and how you want to add the sentiment!

I used my Zig markers to color the image and added tiny gold rhinestones on the balloon strings. I used my Silhouette cameo to cut a frame which I adhered with foam tape for dimension.

Uniko and HTCN (How To Craft Network) - Brand Event

Hi there!

Super exited to pop in and share cards I made with some new products which Uniko will be launching on the How to Craft Network!

• On cards #1 to 4 I used the new stamp set called "Falling Hearts Serenade". 

• On Cards #3 and 4 card I used sentiments from the new set called "Everyday Love Sentiments"

• On cards #4  to 7 I used Scattered-polka-hearts stencil and the florals on the last card is called Hello-lovely-clear-stamp-set

More Mid Century Modern Inspiration

Purrfect day !

 Hi there!

Delays in the postal service were the reason I could not join the introduction posts last week for the new UNIKO release. But here I am now playing catch up... and wow... did I have fun!

Here's my first card featuring the Mid Century Modern Purrfect Day stamp set.

Although this kitty was designed in the Mid Century Modern style, I decided to not add any other MCM design elements for the first card. I used simple masking to place the cutie in the spotlight. I added a tiny die cut bow (magazine freebie from ages ago) for a bit of interest . I used my silhouette cameo to cut out the image.

For the second card I used the new Background Blocks called Background-blocks-linear (my new favourite BB 😁 ) in combination with Scattered polka hearts stencil. I used my Silhouette to cut out the cats as well as the little bow ties. The sentiment is a combination of the "happy" from MCM Frames-clear-stamp-set, the heart from Sunshine-rainbows stamp set and "day" from MCM purrfect-day stamp set. Focal point popped up with foam tape. Bow ties embellished with gems.

Stencil Release Day & GIVEAWAY at Uniko

 Hi there!

Today is release day and as promised earlier I have another card to share, made with the new MOD Background builder stencil. 

This time I used it to make a Christmas card and tag !

I used sentiments from the Christmas-wishes-clear-stamp-set on both the card and the tag. Kept it really CAS to make the sentiment shine!

Inks used : Mountain pine ink from Altenew and Versafine black ink. I finished off the card and tag with a red flat back pearl.

Uniko : Introducing... Stencil Large Snowflake 1 and Large Snowflake 2

 Hi there!

It's the third and last day of introductions to the new stencil release from Uniko, and today we are sharing cards made with TWO new stencils, both featuring beautiful large scale snowflakes!

Creating with snowflakes doesn't come naturally for this desert dweller 😂 but I tried my best to make something which will inspire you !

On the first card I used Festive-sentiments-outlined-clear-stamp-set and distress inks Spun Sugar and Stormy Sky. Sentiment stamped with Versafine black ink.  Looking back at the card now I realize I should have added some sort of embellishment!

For the second card I used the  Big-bold-snow-clear-stamp-set-die-bundle . Distress inks Shaded Lilac and Picked raspberry. The stencils come with a mask (the cut out from the actual stencil) and this is what I used on the second card. I just moved it around randomly on the card panel, lightly adding inks in the two mentioned colors. I then stamped the snowflake from the above mentioned stamp set in the negative space areas and remembered to embellish the card!

Uniko : Introducing... Stencil MOD Background Builder

 Hi there!

Welcome to day 1 of the introductions to the new stencil release from Uniko !

I love this stencil and can definitely see so many possibilities to create stunning cards with it! It is fun, modern and almost goes with any of the existing products from Uniko .

For today's card I combined it one of my Uniko Favorites... the English Country Garden Butterfly set to make an all occasion 'Just a note' card in Autumnal tones . I also made a tag using just a small section of the stencil.

I will share another card using this stencil on release day , which will showcase the versatility of it! 

I used :

• Simply-said-blocks
• Sentiment on the tag : Pure florals peony stamp set
• Tag die (manufacturer unknown) 
• Distress inks : Mustard Seed, Vintage Photo , Spiced Marmalade , Peeled Paint
• Versafine black ink

• Foam squares for dimension

This stencil along with the others we will be introducing over the next few days will be available on the website 9am GMT Thursday 3rd November.
