Guest designer AAA Cards #252

 Hi there!

I am so happy to join the team at AAA cards as guest designer for this fortnight's challenge !

We invite you to create a card inspired by the color scheme in the picture below :

My design is based on this pin on my my Design Inspiration Pinterest board. A card you can make with the minimum supplies... colored card stock, circle dies ( I used my Silhouette cameo to cut mine), a sentiment stamp, and adhesive foam tape if you want to give your design some dimension !

The sentiment I used is from Hero Arts.

I hope to see you in the gallery!

Thanks for visiting me today ♥

Alex Syberia Designs "Sunkissed Memories" June Release Blog Hop and Giveaway

 Hi there!

It's time for the June 2023 release from Alex Syberia designs and I am thrilled to join the blog hop aiming to bring you loads of ideas and inspiration to use the products from the release !

If you are following the hop, you should have arrived here from the talented Erica AB 's blog ! Next stop the amazing Leanne West !

All the information regarding the hop will be available on the Alex Syberia website or you can scroll down where you will also find it :)

For today's hop I decided to showcase the Garden tweets die set

For the first two cards I used only the sentiment of the set. I fell in love with it! It's so dainty but makes a beautiful statement ! I combined it with the Tiny dots cover die, which I also love . It's so versatile !

Basically the same idea, two different color ways and a bit of a twist on the way I designed the sentiment :)

On the first card I used the shadow die to cut out an aperture. To reinforce (and for added interest) I adhered a piece of acetate to the back of the aperture and placed the smile sentiment on top of the exposed card stock strips.

For the second card I used markers to color the tiny dots on the card base ( I used a pencil to mark the positions). This time I cut out the shadow die and added color by randomly drawing stripes, using the same markers, and simply adhered the sentiment on top of it.

The next two cards shows off the sweet bird from the set .

On the first card I used the Meadow-magic-cover-die . The "hearts" on the first card is actually part of the flowers , but I couldn't resist using it creatively! The sentiment is from an earlier release in the set called Spring Garden.

The colored card stock shows off the Meadow-magic-cover-die so beautifully! The sentiment is also from the Spring Garden stamp set.

The last card shows off the flowers you can build ! I used the Tiny dots cover die again, with colored card stock strips on the backside . The sentiment die is from the new Signature-tags-die-set.

I hope you'll find some inspiration here today!

Guest designer - CAS on Friday - Stripes

 Hi there!

I am super excited to join the CAS on Friday challenge team as guest designer for this fortnight's challenge . The theme is : Stripes!

I used :

  • Background blocks pinstripe 2 clear-stamp
  • Circle die
  • Versafine black ink
  • Rhinestones
  • Adhesive foam tape
  • 'Hi' cutting file from the Silhouette store DesignID #46984
  • Silhouette cameo
  • 'There' sentiment computer generated
  • Picked raspberry distress ink

This is one of those cards I had in my head... and the idea turned out just as I hoped it would... love it when that happens!

A very quick and simple card, made by stamping the striped background, diecutting the circle, and popping it up with adhesive foam tape after rotating it 90 °. Finished the card off with the sentiment and matching rhinestones.
I love playing with stripes... so much fun things you can do. Looking forward to see your take on the challenge :)

Guest designer at AAA Birthday challenge #47

 Hi there!

So happy to join the team at AAA Birthday Challenge as guest designer for this fun challenge!

I love dots and I love stripes... so of course I used both :

This card was inspired by another pin on my 'Design Inspiration' board on Pinterest. You can take a look at it here !

You don't need much craft supplies to make a card like this 😉 ... strips of card stock, glued together for dimension and dots , punched or die cut. Mine were cut from white card stock and colored with markers.
And of course a birthday sentiment. This one is from HERO arts stamped with Versafine Black ink.
That's it! quick and clean and simple!

I hope you will join us this month!

Thanks for visiting me today ♥
