Happy to share a card inspired by a couple of challenges !

Color Hues #52

 Hi there!

I picked Turquoise and Mustard for this fortnight's challenge over at Color Hues ! I hope to see you in the gallery!

                                                                                     

I used a cutting file (#410287) from the Silhouette store to make this quick card .

I added a sentiment (font : Jack & Jean) and created a small offset to cut a piece of vellum. I popped the panel up with foam squares to add a bit of dimension.

Love the texture from the mustard card stock that peeps trough the turquoise layer :)

Fusion - Congrats

 Hi there!

There's another wonderful inspiration photo and sketch over at Fusion card challenge ! I do love the extra challenge to do a fusion of sketch and inspiration ♥

At first glance I wanted to use the center circles (bicycle wheels) as focal point, but then I saw the wrought iron balustrade and I remembered the wrought iron flower cutting file in my Silhouette library . My color inspiration came from the copper/old gold candle lanterns and I did some simple scoring inspired by the shiplap wall.

Joy Clair Designs New release Blog Hop

 Hi there!

I am super excited to be a guest designer and one of the stops on the Joy Clair's New release blog hop !

I used the lily from the Refresh-the-soul-digital-stamp set. I love the beautiful lines of the single flower stem and think it looks so fresh and elegant in gold foil!

Green and blue glitter washi tape add a touch of color to my CAS design :)

Design work done in the Silhouette studio, image cut out with my cameo and foil added with a laminator.

Whenever I try out a sketch with multiple layers, I try to simplify it to fit my CAS style.

There are different things you can do to simplify a sketch, one way is to use texture instead of color to incorporate an element from a sketch. Another way is to replace a layer with a sentiment or part of a sentiment . 

In today's card used an embossed panel in the same color as the card base, and replaced the vertical panel as well as the star element with a sentiment.

Hello dearest friend

 Hi there!

I love that macrame is back in fashion again! I want to dust off my knotting skills and make a real one, but for time being, I'm sharing a paper one !

The macrame cutting file is from the Silhouette store, and I created my own window and blinds in the Silhouette studio. I added color with distress inks, added texture with a background stamp from Altenew and finished the card off with a sentiment , also from Altenew.

After finishing the first card this morning, I was curious to see how this lovely heart wreath will look in different colors... so while I was busy, I made two more cards. I love all the options and I think it's amazing how versatile this image is. Every color version is special in a different way!

Alex Syberia July 2021 release

 Hi there!

It's time to share the first card I made with one of the new digital stamps from Alex Syberia Design.

To celebrate the release there's a hop over at Instagram ! The new release also includes AMAZING SVG files for your digital cutting machine. I'm super exited about that of course!

Today I will share my first and favorite card made with one of the new images, called 'Love you'... yes you will fall in love with this adorable giraffe !

I created a rainbow frame with with strips of colored card stock for the giraffe to peep through. I used my Silhouette cameo to cut out the giraffe , the glasses and sentiment.

The font I used for the 'smile' - Respondent
