Time for your weekly sketch inspiration at CAS(e) this sketch !

Thanks Leigh for this inspiring sketch!

I fell in love with this beautiful rose stamp from Altenew the moment I saw it. I seldom say : "I have to have this stamp" but I said it... and ordered it right away! And now I have a new favorite stamp. Can't wait to see it in all the colors of the rainbow!

Of course I tried it first in my favorite  yellow! One thing I love about the Altenew inks is the velvety texture, especially with the layered stamping.

I used :

• Build a flower  ~ Rose.
• Watercolor frames stamp set ~ Background for the rose.
• Pocketful of sunshine mini cube set.
• Coffee break mini cube set.
• Misti.

Hi there!

Thursday already! Also time for CAS(e) this sketch !

I think we all have a drawer or a box somewhere with background experiments ! Every now and again, I open that box to see what's inside... I found this watercolor background  I created some time ago. I used an embossing folder as background stamp. I have so many embossing folders and this is a great way to put them to use!

I added a banner across with the sentiment as inlaid die cut (Silhouette cameo) using the font : "Always in my heart".

A couple of enamel dots, and that's it!

My take on Leigh's sketch :

I used:

• Graffiti scribble stencil from Altenew.
• Rainbow of distress inks.
• Stampset by Hampton arts.
• Versafine Onyx black ink.
• Misti.

My card was inspired by Bev's card at Time out challenges going with rainbow colors and black outline flower stamping.

Hi there!

Smile... it's Thursday and time for my weekly inspiration for the new sketch at
 CAS(e) this sketch !

I was intrigued by Chrissy's sketch this week, and really wanted to COPY the sketch, because I love it so much... but it didn't happen.  Instead this card happened 😊

I found this cute faces cutting file at APEX cuttables, and they were freebies for that day!

                                         *** A new free cutting file is available every day @ Apex! ***

I created my own sentiment in the Silhouette studio, and added interest to the background with the graffiti scribble stencil from Altenew and warm sunshine Altenew ink.

As always you are welcome to download the sentiment for personal use !

• Spiced marmalade distress ink & ink blender.
• Silhouette cameo
• My own sentiment created with the font 'meadowbrook'.

I used the photo inspiration from Fusion card challenge to create my card, focusing on the B&W background with orange focal point.

I LOVE Chrissy's graphic sketch and my card is nothing clever... and quite literally... but I love the way it turned out!

I used:

• Sentiment Design ID #147230 from Karla Dudley in the Silhouette store.
• Distress ink : picked raspberry, spiced marmalade, mustard seed.
• Background stripes designed in the Silhouette studio and printed in black.
