Miss you so much !

Hi there!

I could not resist the inspiration photo over at Fusion card challenge ...because...yellow 💛  ... and a
door !

Whenever we travel, I always find myself taking pictures of doors . I love them especially if they are colorful like the one in the picture !

I need loads of 'miss you' cards ... because I miss my family and friends far away so much and there are no indications of us travelling to South-Africa soon of course due to the Covid situation.

 I used :

• Take-me-home digital stamp set from Graciellie Design
• Zig markers
• Foam squares for dimension
• Craft knife 

This sweet and cozy little cottage doesn't need much to make a beautiful card. But to add some interest, I decided to open up the door, by cutting along three of the edges , using a craft knife. 

I also added a little 'doormat' sentiment inspired by the sketch that goes with the inspiration photo.

I scribbled with my yellow Zig marker/s on a piece of acetate, spritzed it with water and painted the stripes for the background freehand using a broad paintbrush.

Let your light shine

Hi there!

We live in a time that we all need to let our light shine . So many people in need of love and encouragement !

A really quick and simple card made by masking the face of the girl with subtle stenciling and coloring to add interest.

Sometimes...

Hi there!

I could not ignore the inspiration photo at Inkspirational Challenges this fortnight!

It's YELLOW !

My yellow loving heart connected immediately with the picture and I reached for acrylic paint and some digital stamps from Graciellie design. Freshly made sketches provided a fun layout for my design :)

I used :

Faith

Hi there!

We are preparing to move to a smaller house just around the corner here in our village... Now that it's just hubby, Sugar and I ... we don't need all the space of a four bedroom villa. Looking forward to reorganize our "office" and crafting space in the new house !

Things are busy busy here ...  but I just had to make a quick card before my crafty supplies are packed up and the crazy starts 😆

Be still...

Hi there!

Back in my craft room after a short break for some precious family time . Not too often that the four of us have the privilege to be under the same roof... and we made the most of it!

You matter

Hi there!

Happy Saturday!

Another card with a beautiful digital stamp from Graciellie design. One of my favorites! Played around with it in the Silhouette studio and came up with a card for some challenges:)

 I used :

• You-matter-digital-stamp-set : Graciellie design
• Silhouette cameo
• Zig markers
• Craft foam for dimension

I opened the image in the Silhouette studio. Traced it , created a 1mm offset and welded the offset to the window frame. I then used the print and cut function before coloring it with my Zig markers.

Some watercolor splatters on the bottom layer to add interest and color

Inspired by bees, those little miracles of nature, I made two cards for two different occasions.
