Hi there!
Delays in the postal service were the reason I could not join the introduction posts last week for the new UNIKO release. But here I am now playing catch up... and wow... did I have fun!
Here's my first card featuring the Mid Century Modern Purrfect Day stamp set.
Although this kitty was designed in the Mid Century Modern style, I decided to not add any other MCM design elements for the first card. I used simple masking to place the cutie in the spotlight. I added a tiny die cut bow (magazine freebie from ages ago) for a bit of interest . I used my silhouette cameo to cut out the image.
First card :
For the second card I used the new Background Blocks called Background-blocks-linear (my new favourite BB 😁 ) in combination with Scattered polka hearts stencil. I used my Silhouette to cut out the cats as well as the little bow ties. The sentiment is a combination of the "happy" from MCM Frames-clear-stamp-set, the heart from Sunshine-rainbows stamp set and "day" from MCM purrfect-day stamp set. Focal point popped up with foam tape. Bow ties embellished with gems.
Thanks for popping in to take a look at the cards I made today!

I love the mid-century modern look! These are super cute and clever cards, Hannelie. We're having the same delays here. In order to reach us here on the Oregon coast a package can encounter any number of weather catastrophes.
So fun! I love that second card. Your creativity is amazing.!
