I have said it so may times before... I can not resist a challenge inspiration photo with a scene featuring a bicycle ! Add some flowers and it's like magic... I had to play along with Time Out this fortnight!

This is my take on the photo :)

Although there are a variety of colors in the photo, I decided to focus on the neutrals and a pop of yellow and green.

Abstract geometric landscape

Hi there!

I'm back with a card after almost a week of total loss of mojo .  What to do if that happens? 

I went back to my Pinterest Design Inspiration board , studied a couple of abstract landscape designs... and finally made a card!  

I used :

• Sun-rays-die - Waffle Flower
• Circle and oval dies
• Wood grain BG stamp from Kaisercraft
• Dotted-pinwheels-stamp-set - Altenew (sentiment)
• Colored card stock
• Versafine black ink
• Adhesive foam tape from Altenew

Celebrate... dies !

 Hi there!

Happy to share a celebratory card today ! I had an idea for left over pieces from a previous card. You are welcome to take a look at it here :) 

Here's what I made today!

I used :

• Floral lattice die from Alex Syberia Designs
• Celebrate die from Alex Syberia Designs
• Memory box rectangle pinpoint die
• Acetate
• Gold, turquoise and aqua card stock
• Foam squares for dimension
• Rhinestones

The cut out pieces from the Floral lattice die works perfectly to hide the foam tape squares which gives the acetate panel a floating look! So excited about this card. Love it when an idea in my head translates to a card so well .

Wild thing...

Hi there !

Popping in with a fun one layer card today! I used to dread making one layer cards... but it can be such fun ... with the focus on good . old. stamping. Just that!

Oh... and so glad that I held on to some of my older stamp sets... they came in very handy to make today's card :)

You bring me joy !

 Hi there!

I fell in love with this "Swoopy flowers" set from Simon Says stamp the moment I saw it. It's been sitting on my desk since I received it, so yesterday was the day to ink it up. I was so eager to color it with the coordinating stencil, I colored the two flower buds on the sides green instead of yellow ! But the star of the show in the middle, looked so pretty I just decided to use it as is! Next time I will remember it's flowers and not leaves!  

I used :

• Swoopy Flowers stamp and coordinating stencil 
• Altenew inks
• Gina K amalgam black ink
• Silhouette cameo to cut out the flowers
• Circle die as a mask 
• Dot/bubble stencil (manufacturer unknown)
• Foam adhesive tape from Altenew
• Rhinestones

My card was inspired by four challenges :

Just us girls challenge ~ Mood board - I played with the flower/Spring theme, the yellows and greens, and the background was inspired by the picture of the lemons which look like little dots to me :)

Tic Tac Toe challenge ~ I playing with the diagonal row : Sentiment-Flowers-Stencil

The flower challenge ~ Die cuts/ stencils - I used a stencil for the BG and stencil to color the image.

You ... are a treasure to me

 Hi there!

Another beautiful inspiration photo at The card concept this fortnight! Or photos should I say ! I love both, but decided to use the first photo as my inspiration today just because I LOVE the combination of colors and elements :)

I focused on the beautiful delft vase for the background with a large sentiment in yellow/green as the focal point for my clean and layered card.

I used :

• Beautiful Flowers stamp set - Simon Says stamp (floral images and sentiment)
• You are background stamp - Simon Says stamp (text)
• Arches background stamp - Simon Says stamp
• Blueprint sketch distress ink
• Altenew inks on the sentiment
• Sentiment from the Silhouette store #105991
• Memory box pinpoint rectangle die
• Foam adhesive tape
• Rhinestones

I used the stamps mentioned above and used the rectangle die to cut out 2 rectangles from each of the stamped images to create the look of delft tiles. 

The "you" were cut with my Silhouette cameo and inked with green and yellow inks.

Fun with squares

I had fun in the craft room yesterday and I made two cards playing with squares :

On both cards I used :

Background builders squared stamp set from Uniko

On the first card I used scored lines on the card base to help with placement of the cut out squares.

On the second card I used :
