Birthday card set

Hi there!

I had no intentions to make three cards when I sat down this morning at my desk. But after making the first card in pink, I was so curious to see how the design will look in other colors ! So I made two more, one in yellow/orange and another one in blue !

The layout was inspired by AAA Cards Challenge ... but when I look back at the sketch now, I think I might got carried away a bit with the dots ... but anyway I am still linking it up !

Summer - Subway art inspired

Hi there!

Summer is here, and I think this card announces it in a fun and colorful way!

Seeing that the series of UNIKO Block Party Stamps are inspired by subway art, I thought it would be fun to combine it with another background stamp called brickwall (from Kaisercraft). I have had it for a long long time and somehow think I may have used it once before. Now that I have used it, I don't want to put it away! So be prepared to see it a lot in the future!

Fusion - Congrats

 Hi there!

There's another wonderful inspiration photo and sketch over at Fusion card challenge ! I do love the extra challenge to do a fusion of sketch and inspiration ♥

At first glance I wanted to use the center circles (bicycle wheels) as focal point, but then I saw the wrought iron balustrade and I remembered the wrought iron flower cutting file in my Silhouette library . My color inspiration came from the copper/old gold candle lanterns and I did some simple scoring inspired by the shiplap wall.

Altenew paint a flower : Chamomile

 Hi there!

It's been a while since I did any coloring... so I took out my Zig markers for today's card !

Nothing says I love you better than a cup of tea made with love ♥

I used :

• Paint-a-flower : Chamomile outline stamp-set
• Label-love
• Watercolor stripes stencil
• Zig markers
• Embossing paste from Dreamweaver - I added color by mixing it with Lime Rickey ink from Catherine Pooler
• Versafine black ink
• Silhouette cameo to cut out the image

Make it masculine

 Hi there!

Happy Monday... and happy new week to you!

I used the opportunity a couple of challenges presented to make a masculine birthday card. I never have one on hand when I need one, so... good to add one to my stash !

 

I used :

• Soft-plaid-background ~Simon Says Stamp
• Birthday-on-a-line-wafer-die ~Simon Says Stamp
• Distress Oxide ink - Fossilized amber and Vintage photo
• Circle die
• Frond cutting file from the Silhouette store #0800032
• Misti
• Enamel dots
• Craft foam for dimension

After I stamped the background once with the Fossilized amber, I kept the stamp positioned in my Misti, and moved the card stock just about 5mm, and stamped again with Vintage Photo. Love how it turned out!
