Since I saw the inspiration picture at the Curtain call challenge, my head was working overtime because I LOVE sunflowers!
I just love all the beautiful examples of the DT. I really tried to make a card with a realistic looking sunflower, but alas, it is just not my thing! So I stayed true to my more graphic roots and cut this sunflower with my Silhouette from a coloring picture I found here!.
Sunflowers and gingham are a perfect match in my eyes, so this is the direction I took.
Everything came together with the lovely sketch from Karen at the Sweetest thing!
Nothing much to my sentiment today... but here it is anyway!

Hi, vrou, ek het 'laaggele' met die blog-besoeke die naweek, so nou het ek baie om op te vang!! Jou sonneblom is manjifiek en so, so pragtig saam met die gingham!! (Moenie jou styl probeer verander nie, dis perfek so grafies!!)
