White on white

 Hi there !

It's been so long since I made an  white on white card. I really had fun making this card, playing with different textures and dimension . Two key elements in an all white design :)

I used :

• Graceful-butterfly-set ~ Simon Says Stamp
• Celebrate Die ~ Alex Syberia Designs
• Vellum
• Acetate rhinestones
• Foam squares for dimension

To add interest to the design, I used the shadow die on the upper card panel and adhered a piece of acetate to the back side of it to suspend the actual word. The rest of the design is pretty straight forward. I used vellum to cut out one of the larger butterflies and used it beneath the butterfly in the middle. I added three rhinestones to finish off the design .

Birthday flowers

 Hi there!

Coloring stencils are making it really really easy to add color to your stamped images! Especially if coloring is not your strong point! (like me 😊)

Painted heart wreath... more ideas!

Hi there!

In THIS post I told you my head was full of ideas for the Painted heart stamp set from the new Kisses release by Simon Says stamp... so here they are!

First up... a very colorful rainbow card, created by repeatedly stamping from top to bottom, not careing too much about any part of the image overlapping. Definitely more colorful and busier than the cards I usually make, but I still like how it turned out!

On the second card I used only three colors, left a bit more space between the stamped images, and trimmed down the focal point to leave more white space for a CAS card.

The third card is a one layer card in blue and purple with a bold sentiment.

Sending sweet birthday wishes

 Hi there!

Made a card yesterday inspired by a couple of challenges, one being the Altenew Inspiration Challenge. I usually interpret an inspiration photo quite literally, but for this card I was totally inspired by the lovely color palette and the Spring vibes of the photo. I wanted the sweet bird to steal the show, just like the stargazer lily !

 Hi there !

The new Simon Says Stamp kisses release has the most beautiful stamps, dies and lots lots more!

Today's card features the Painted Heart Wreath. My head is already working overtime to think of other designs and ways to use this stamp set.

Uniko and HTCN (How To Craft Network) - Brand Event

Super exited to pop in and share cards I made with some new products which Uniko will be launching on the How to Craft Network!

Purrfect day !

 Hi there!

Delays in the postal service were the reason I could not join the introduction posts last week for the new UNIKO release. But here I am now playing catch up... and wow... did I have fun!

Here's my first card featuring the Mid Century Modern Purrfect Day stamp set.

Although this kitty was designed in the Mid Century Modern style, I decided to not add any other MCM design elements for the first card. I used simple masking to place the cutie in the spotlight. I added a tiny die cut bow (magazine freebie from ages ago) for a bit of interest . I used my silhouette cameo to cut out the image.

For the second card I used the new Background Blocks called Background-blocks-linear (my new favourite BB 😁 ) in combination with Scattered polka hearts stencil. I used my Silhouette to cut out the cats as well as the little bow ties. The sentiment is a combination of the "happy" from MCM Frames-clear-stamp-set, the heart from Sunshine-rainbows stamp set and "day" from MCM purrfect-day stamp set. Focal point popped up with foam tape. Bow ties embellished with gems.
