Altenew March Inspiration Challenge

 Hi there!

Teri shared a beautiful picture for this month's Altenew Inspiration challenge ! She took a photo of the Caldicot Castle while she visited Wales for a family vacation. Those castles intrigue me ... and I couldn't resist to incorporate the amazing stonework as the background of my design(s).

I played with embossing paste and while I was getting messy, I made two cards .

I used :

• Stone wall stencil
• Pots and plants stamp set
• Label love (sentiment on the first card)
• Enchanted iris stamp set (sentiment on the second card)
• Instant dimension foam tape
• Embossing paste colored with Altenew Mocha ink
• Zig markers
• Silhouette cameo to cut out the images

Color Hues #59

 Hi there !

It's time for new color inspiration at Color Hues !

                                                                                        

Here's the card I made to invite and inspire you to play along :

I used :

• Floral Lattice cover die cut from textured gold card stock 
• Classic Foliage die-set
• Spring Garden stamp-set (sentiment)

All of the above from Alex Syberia Designs.

The foliage were cut from a water colored panel I created by smooshing some Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors on watercolor paper.

I used a circle die to cut an aperture in the upper card panel. I then adhered vellum to the back of the opening to provide a surface to glue down the gold panel. I also used a circle die to "crop" the Floral lattice cover die.

To finish off the card, I popped the sentiment up on the background using adhesive foam tape and arranged the foliage behind it. Rhinestones were placed to embellish the card :)

Guest designer at AAA Birthday challenge #47

 Hi there!

So happy to join the team at AAA Birthday Challenge as guest designer for this fun challenge!

I love dots and I love stripes... so of course I used both :

This card was inspired by another pin on my 'Design Inspiration' board on Pinterest. You can take a look at it here !

You don't need much craft supplies to make a card like this 😉 ... strips of card stock, glued together for dimension and dots , punched or die cut. Mine were cut from white card stock and colored with markers.

And of course a birthday sentiment. This one is from HERO arts stamped with Versafine Black ink.

That's it! quick and clean and simple!
