I treasure your friendship

Hi there!

It's a beautiful Saturday morning here in Abu Dhabi. The sky is blue, and it is 23°C.

I am listening to Neil Diamond while I'm typing this post. So sad to know he was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease and that he had to cancel his touring program. Still one of my all time favorite singers!

On to today's card... inspired by a couple of challenges :

I used :

  • A beautiful bouquet "digital stamp"  found in an online coloring page
  • My own sentiment
  • Gift cut (party set in the silhouette store)
  • Silhouette cameo
  • Zig markers
  • Enamel dots

I saved the sentiment for you to download and use :

Font used : Meadowbrook

CAS(e) this sketch #237

Hi there!

Smile... it's Thursday and time for my weekly inspiration for the new sketch at
 CAS(e) this sketch !

I was intrigued by Chrissy's sketch this week, and really wanted to COPY the sketch, because I love it so much... but it didn't happen.  Instead this card happened 😊

I found this cute faces cutting file at APEX cuttables, and they were freebies for that day!

*** A new free cutting file is available every day @ Apex! ***

I created my own sentiment in the Silhouette studio, and added interest to the background with the graffiti scribble stencil from Altenew and warm sunshine Altenew ink.

As always you are welcome to download the sentiment for personal use !

Fonts used:

Amastery hand & Amastery Script.

CASology : BUD

Hi there!

Where will this week's cue card take your creativity?! Looking forward to see your card inspired by the cue card at CASology !

My card for your inspiration:

I used one of our sponsor's cute images, traced it in my Silhouette studio, and used my cameo to cut it out. I also designed the sentiment strip in the studio, using the font " DJB upstairs at the abbey ".

You are welcome to download and use it on your projects!

I love this font, because you can add color to it with markers or coloring pencils if you wish !

I added color to the background with subtle stenciling.

CASology : Pizza

Hi there!

Are you hungry... come over to CASology this week and have some...

When I saw the cue my first thought was... ugh... what on earth am I going to make 😝... but in the end I had so much fun making this card, and LOVE the way it turned out!

A closer look:

The gingham background stamp is from Kaisercraft. I stamped it with Crimson (Altenew Crisp ink).

The 2 hearts were cut with my Silhouette. One using kraft card stock, and the smaller one using white card stock. I then sponged the 'cheese' on the top layer with Butter bar (Hero arts), and stamped the 'pepperoni' and 'onion rings' with small circle stamps (unknown manufacturer).

The sentiment was designed in the Silhouette studio. You are welcome to download it for personal use:

With love ... on your birthday.

Hi there!

When inspiration knocks on the door in so many forms, you simply have to make a card!

A sketch challenge, a color challenge and some keywords made today's card happen :)

I used:

  • A free digital stamp, offered by Bev from  Uniko studio which you will find  Here . I have used it before on this and this cards.
  • Zig markers for coloring.
  • Watercolor paper
  • Silhouette cameo for cutting and silhouette studio to design to sentiment.

Challenges:

The challenge - using the keywords Flowers, watercolor, birthday & bright.

CAS watercolour ~ Summer

I saved the sentiment I created and you are welcome to use it!
