For a special someone

Hi there!

Thanks for popping in to take  a look at the card I made yesterday !

I used :

  • Fuchsia stamp from Mudra Crafts : stamp set called Humming birds
  • Sentiment stamp also from Mudra Crafts : stamp set called Simply Florals
  • Zig markers
  • Old credit card for 'painting' the background
  • Gina K amalgam ink
  • Silhouette cameo to cut out the image
  • Memory Box pinpoint rectangle die
  • Flat back pearls
  • Foam tape for dimension

The colors at Color Throwdown immediately made me think of the amazing little Fuchsia flowers. They always remind me of little ballerinas!

Hers's a photo I took some time ago in my mother's garden:

Let's party !

Hi there!

It's been a while since I joined the fun at Fusion Card Challenge ! Time to do something about that :)

A fusion of sketch and photo today. So many fun elements to be celebrated, but after I noticed the marbled effect on the hexagons, I immediately knew which direction I should go with the background.

 I used :

  • Let's party stamp set : Mudra Craft stamps
  • Promarkers
  • Distress oxide inks and Versafine black ink
  • Liquid-marble-stencil : Altenew
  • Silhouette cameo to cut out the cake and mask for the background
  • Liquid pearls and flat back pearls

Love : heart and flowers!

Hi there!

I used :

  • Dainty Blooms stamp set
  • Heart mask cut with my Silhouette cameo

Dots and flowers

Hi there!

Popping in with a very QACAS (quick & clean & simple) card!

one layer floral card- Mudra craft stamps

I used:

I masked one square with the negative from a die cut, stamped the first square, moved the mask and stamped the second square, overlapping the first. I then stamped the pretty floral branch and sentiment and added the rhinestones.

Water color birthday wishes

Hi there!

Happy Friday to you!

The card I am showing you today was inspired by three challenges :)

I used :

  • Humming-birds stamp set from Mudra-stamps @ Paper Curves
  • Sentiment from Altenew
  • Zig markers
  • Versafine Black ink
  • Rhinestones
  • Misti
  • Silhouette for 'fussy cutting' of the hummingbird

It was fun making this card with its combination of watercolor smooshing technique and loose water coloring! I usually dread adding splatters and coloring outside the lines like this, but this time I think it worked !

The challenges:

Seize the birthday  ~ Topping : Birds
