Modern tulip birthday card

Hi there!

Like most of our cardmaking friends, I am making the most of this time of social distancing. While I was busy taking the pictures of today's card, I told my hubby how blessed I feel for having a hobby to keep my head and hands busy. Well not only one, but two hobbies ! I also crochet when I am not busy with cards and paper.

So here's today's card:

I used :

  • Tulip cutting file from the Silhouette store #32001
  • Silhouette cameo
  • Colored card stock (cut 3x and layered for dimension)
  • Sentiment from Simon-Says-Stamps ~ Big Birthday Wishes stamped with Versafine Black Ink
  • Craft foam to add dimension
  • Pink Rhinestones

Challenges :

Time out challenges ~ Lots or little purple

AAA birthday ~ Flowers

CAS on Friday ~ Birthday

                                     For your blog

Thanks for visiting me today!

A lovely design. Love the off the centre circle and so much detail and colour in this gorgeous flower. I have not been creative through all this but made my first card today for weeks. Hubby working from home and works in the room I have my craft stuff in so hard to find creativity whilst conference video calls going on! Thanks for helping spread the word and joining us at Time Out

The same feelings over here. The hobby’s keep us busy, I am sewing al lot the days, finally use my stuff I bought years ago.
I love the the ideas that you buy in the silhouette store, mostly modern and straight.
I like your cards and use them often for inspiration.

Beautiful card. Love those fun die cut flowers. Fun to hear that you also crochet. Maybe share something here some time? I knit when I am not making cards, and it is a fun hobby and also makes card making look inexpensive! Wonder if crochet is like that as well? Thanks so much for playing along at Time Out.

Your tulip is beautiful, and I like the way you focus attention on it by framing it within a circle cut-out. That's such a great idea for all kinds of images. I definitely need to keep it in mind.
