Stained glass hearts

Hi there!

Back with another love themed card !

A closer look:

Fusion card challenge provided the inspiration for my card today.

I LOVE stained glass in all forms.

Since I can remember I wanted a stained glass lampshade... a large one that hangs low over the dining room table... maybe one day when we live in our own house again ! But till then... my stained glass hearts on this card will have to fulfill my dreams 😊

I  used :

  • Heart cutting file from Paper issues
  • Vellum
  • Promarkers to color the vellum on the backside
  • Sentiment from Silhouette store (printed , not cut)

Thanks for visiting me today!

Hugs
Hannelie

What a great idea to color the back of the vellum to make these gorgeous stained glass hearts! Overlapped plain pink heart connects the other two nicely. Fabulous design, Hannelie! Hideko xx

Goodness, your card is so perfect for the challenge! Love how the colors and black pop together against the white card base. Beautifully designed, as always. I hope you will someday have that stained glass lampshade!

WOW... your cards is stunning. I just love it. The details in the stained glass hearts is superb. THis is my first time visiting your blog.. I love this quote you have: “There are three responses to a piece of design – yes, no, and WOW! Wow is the one to aim for.” — Milton Glaser and my dear lady WOW!!! you aimed high and indeed got the WOW factor. ♥
