Birthday mandala

Hi there!

Happy Friday!

I have a bright and happy birthday card to share today!

I used a clipart mandala image to create the cutting file for my card. Played around with the design by cropping  and welding it into a frame. Then filled up the spaces with the inlay technique. Now I have plenty of leftovers to play with... watch this space ;)

Challenges :

Color throwdown  ~ Colors
Freshly made sketches ~ Layout
Seize the birthday ~ No toppings option
Simon says stamp Wednesday challenge ~ Anything goes

Thanks for looking!

Have a great weekend :)

I swear Hannelie, if Silhouette doesn't hire you, then they're crazy! This is not only a very clever idea, it's gorgeous. Those rich, beautiful colors make this such a 'happy' birthday card! And your sentiment just pops against it. This is fabulous!! Love this card!!! Have a great weekend. Bev

Ooh, this is such a great design! I really like that you chose to place the centre of the mandala low and off-centre as you did. And yes, I was thinking of all the fun leftovers to create other designs! Thanks for joining us at Seize the Birthday!
