Hi there!
1st of April... have you been fooled today ๐๐ ?
I have a card to show... and it's no joke!
I used inspiration from a couple of favorite challenges and this is what I made:
A closer look at the copper foiled sentiment:
And a different angle:
I used the same background stamp as I used for THIS card.
Stamped with Versamark and white embossed.
Colored it in purple this time with my Zig markers and die cut a circle from it.
I added my own sentiment, foiled with Decofoil (Thermoweb) copper.
Fonts used : Watermelon script & Impact label.
Layered the sentiment over vellum and finished off the design with a couple of rhinestones.
Challenges:
The card concept ~ I was inspired by the beautiful purple glas. The name of the BG stamp is Broken Glass (Prima marketing), and that was the main inspiration for choosing it for my graphic CAS design. I also saw some beautiful gold/copper accents in the background and that was the inspiration for the sentiment.
Seize the birthday ~ Use vellum.
Freshly made sketches ~ Sketch rotated.
That's it!
Thanks for looking... have a great weekend!

What a fun color combo, and I love that foil sentiment. Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches this week!
I'm always thrilled to see your take on our sketches. Your textured circle is fabulous and I love that you used the sentiment for the stripes. So glad you joined us this week at FMS!
Loving that background stamp. Had to take a peek at the first card you used it on. It is great in both colors and so very interesting. Great idea to just use a circle behind the sentiment. Love that copper word too. Could be a masculine card as well. Those are hard to make for me. Thanks for joining us at Seize the Birthday.
