My love for navy blue is growing at a steady pace... not only in my wardrobe, but also in my craft room!

Not much to explain about today's card.

All elements cut with my Silhouette, and enamel dots to add interest. Short and sweet for this week's

So blue without you

Hi there!

Before I start with today's card, I just want to take a moment and thank each and everyone out there who made my birthday (Sunday) a very special day.

Thanks to those who popped in to wish me well, thanks to those who posted a card on line, thanks for the cards I received in my mailbox (and for those still on its way) and thanks for the on-line birthday party Bev !

Wow, it really made me feel so special! I treasure it in my heart!

My card for today was inspired by 2 challenges { and not necessarily by my mood - although there's always a small blue spot in my heart because I live so far away from my loved ones ; }

I used a stencil I have cut with my Silhouette and sponged the heart in faded jeans and tumbled glass distress inks.

The sentiment is my own. Partially digital and partially Silhouette cut. The cut part was also treated with above mentioned inks. A few sequins to finish off the card.

I  created a similar digital sentiment for you to use:

Casology : WRITE

Hi there !

A new cue card is up at Casology !

Where will this week's cue card take you? It took me back in time, yes the time when feathers and ink were writing tools!

Both the feather and sentiment are from Hero arts...

Because I am no good at fuzzy cutting, I used my Silhouette to create a cutting file for the feather. Just ONE of the features I love about my Machine!

I scored the front panel with lines to reinforce the theme of writing.

A few wooden hearts and twine to finish off the card.

The sponsor for this week's challenge is :

Our wonderful guest designer this week is : Diana.

I hope to see you join us at Casology this week!

I am linking my card at the Muse card club, where the fabulous Carol Mayne is the guest Muse... since my card is sharing the same feathery theme as hers!
