For the next 2 weeks, we invite you to join us at digi my world in creating a card with any of Annie's cute images . But make it.... GREEN!

At the moment this is one of my favorite layouts. Very CAS!
You however may create anything green... just remember to use a DMW Image!

Digi my world challenge 10 - light up my life! (includes tutorial 'how to use an oval die cut to create a heart shape')

Hi there!

Challenge time at digi my world!

Theme this week is 'light up my life'. We challenge you to make a card for that someone you just can't life without!
Prize this week is  $10 store credit ! Use any DMW image and create a card for that someone special!

Sentiment computer generated says "Vir jou" in Afrikaans or "for you"  in English

The heart shape was created by using an oval die cut... ( my top tip for TTT)
Here's how I did it.

Start by folding a piece of card stock in half. Position your die cut carefully as shown.

Run through your die cut machine

You can go further and create a frame, using a smaller die cut inside the shape you created.

You can deal with the fold that forms, creatively! I worked with the fold rather than trying to disguise it... but there are other ways to deal with it as well. If you use printed paper/ card stock, the fold is hardly visible!

Time warp ~ back to the 60's with DMW

Time for the 3rd challenge at digi my world!

It's a time warp ~ taking you back to the 50's, 60's or 70's! Lots of cute images to pick from, so please join us and stand a chance  to win a great prize...

I used "Jukebox Jenna". It is set of 3 digi stamps. On my card you can see Jenna and some good old vinyl!
The set also contains a jukebox! Super cute!!

I colored the images with promarkers, and added the polka dots with a white gel marker.
