For a special someone

Hi there!

Thanks for popping in to take  a look at the card I made yesterday !

I used :

  • Fuchsia stamp from Mudra Crafts : stamp set called Humming birds
  • Sentiment stamp also from Mudra Crafts : stamp set called Simply Florals
  • Zig markers
  • Old credit card for 'painting' the background
  • Gina K amalgam ink
  • Silhouette cameo to cut out the image
  • Memory Box pinpoint rectangle die
  • Flat back pearls
  • Foam tape for dimension

The colors at Color Throwdown immediately made me think of the amazing little Fuchsia flowers. They always remind me of little ballerinas!

Hers's a photo I took some time ago in my mother's garden:

Challenges :

Color Throwdown : Purple, Red, Green
Happy little stampers : Watercolor Challenge - Anything goes

Thanks for visiting me today!

What a fab card and background, were you able to move the zig inks with a credit card to make the background?? Thanks in advance.

Love that credit card background! Used to love it and then sort of forgot about it.... very nicely done.

Oh, Hannelie, I've seen the credit card technique before, but never done so beautifully. This is simply gorgeous!
