Color Hues #1

Hi there!

The day has finally arrived ! Time for our first Color Hues Challenge !

Yellow and green shouts Spring to me... and yes it is the first day of Spring in South-Africa, my first and much loved home... and of course also in the whole Southern hemisphere !

For this reason I decided to use a daffodil as my focal point :)

Here's my card to invite and inspire you to play along!

I used :

  • Daffodil Stem Die from Simon Says Stamp
  • Tiny-bubbles-stencil from Altenew combined with a larger bubble stencil brand unknown
  • Altenew inks
  • Circle mask (die cut)
  • Sentiment from a Mudra Craft stamp set
  • Versafine black ink

Sharing my card at :

I would really really LOVE to see you join our first challenge. You have two weeks to create something awesome  :)

Thanks for visiting !

Hannelie

Your daffodil is so pretty; the dotted background, beautiful! An eye-catching combination in every way! As you head into Spring, we step into Fall...time to bring out the warm sweaters and cozy leggings!

Such a beautiful CAS card! Your background is simply gorgeous. I have to admit I'd rather be facing spring than fall. I've been following you for several years, and am excited to join you on this new challenge adventure!

Hannelie,
I am always inspired by your work. This card is exceptional! I thought the background was patterned paper. The stencil turned out beautifully. I'm happy to be on this team with you!
And...happy first day of spring!
