Hi there!
I love sunflowers... for two reasons :
They remind us to turn our heads to the sun ... and they also remind me so much about South-Africa !

I love sunflowers... for two reasons :
They remind us to turn our heads to the sun ... and they also remind me so much about South-Africa !
I used :
- Sunflower cutting file from the Silhouette store : Design ID #88489
- Silhouette came
- Memory Box pin point rectangle die
- Distress oxide inks : Vintage photo, Candied Apple, Fossilized Amber, Spiced Marmalade
- Sentiment from Altenew : Adore you stamp set
- Gold glitter washi tape
- Foam tape for dimension
I just love this background technique from Channin. She calls it the "ink card swiping technique" . I have used it a couple of times and it works every time ... you can't really go wrong!

Beautiful background and keeping the die white allows this to shine through! Adore the sentiment and the touch of silver adds the perfect finishing touch. Thanks for joining Ink x
It is truly a beautiful background, and very pretty card -- but you haven't seen MY ink swiped backgrounds (ugh)!
I remember when you used this background technique before. It looks spectacular on this card--so bright and cheery, just like a sunflower. Great card!
Love it! Need to try this!
Such a pretty card! I love that background and the sunflower cutout! Great job nicely done. Thanks so much for playing along with Just Us Girls this week.
That background is so cool and done in the perfect colors to pair up with that big, beautiful die cut sunflower! Great sentiment and placement, too. Thanks for playing along with us at JUGS!
I love, love the background and the cute sunflower! I hope someday you'll move back to South Africa because I know how much you miss it.
That's a beautiful card!! The white flower pops beautifully against the colourful background.
Thank you for sharing this lovely card in the Inkspirational Gallery

That's such a brilliant background, Hannelie ... warm and sunny ... and so cool at the same time! Your white sunflower is wonderful against it! Hugs, Anita :)
