Hi there!
There's something about a bicycle card... Bicycles and flowers, or hearts or balloons... always a pretty picture!
Thanks to Fusion card challenge for the pretty inspiration picture. I love a challenge... and decided to accept the challenge to do the fusion between the sketch and inspiration photo... tweaked the sketch a bit by rotating it and adjusting the curve to fit the design.
A closer look:
The bicycle is a cutting file from Apex cuttables, available here.
I used a heavier type of colored paper rather than card stock to make this delicate cut, adjusting the cut settings to "copy paper - medium" and using a relative new ratchet blade.
To give a bit more weight to the bicycle, I cut it once more, using white lightweight card stock, just erasing the basket detail in the Silhouette studio.
The stencil for the BG was also cut with my cameo. I used Soft Granite shadow ink (Hero Arts) to sponge the wall .
Sentiment also designed in the Silhouette Studio, font used KG Strawberry Limeade.
As you can see, I found the picture so inspiring, ended up kind of recreating the image, just using hearts instead of flowers ππ.
Thanks for visiting me today !
Hugs
Hannelie

I shared the photo below on Instagram yesterday. I was just again so pleasantly surprised by the delicate cut the Silhouette cameo is able to make!

Love your card right down to the heart shaped pedal guard and my favourite colour green, mint. Just perfect
Never thought a cycle would look adorable, but that's what I thought as soon as I saw this! Such beautiful card, Hannelie! I am in love with colors, the design and the beautiful...everything!!

This is the perfect fusion, Hannelie! And the Silhouette cutting is amazing. My Silhouette decided it didn't want to cut a whole image and halfway through, the blade goes back "home", cutting a lovely big diagonal through my design :( So it's been put into time out, which is a shame because they are so useful.
This is a lovely take on the inspiration Hannelie! As always I love the detail in your design.
I love your version of the pretty photo and sketch. So clean, crisp and creative. TFS Hannelie. Hugs..
This is darling, Hannelie, and it's amazing how your Cameo makes such tiny cuts.
Lovely in every way...... and just perfect for the Fusion challenge! Love, love!
I just love a bicycle card, too, and have made a few of them. I love your background stencil. I actually created one on the Silhouette, but I haven't cut it out, yet. I need to do that soon.
Sweet, cute, and love the colors and design! You're a wealth of information and inspiration for Silhouette users!
This is amazing!! I like how you tweaked that sketch and the delicate cuts are amazing on that bike. Beautiful card.
Gorgeous, Hannelie! You and your Cameo creating masterpieces, again! :-)
Wow times a kazillion! Thank you so much for sharing the paper/cut settings because when I first spied this AWESOME card I immediately thought that it was a purchased die cut! Love the vintage look of the bike - especially the color and the heart chain guard!
Made my heart smile cuz Danny's grandpa had a bike that he painted with house paint...and it was exactly this color! His bike looked great...and it matched their house!
What a sweet card...love your fabulous bicycle! That color is amazing.
