Hi there!
Every month Altenew brings us the most beautiful photo as design inspiration . This month Sveta's photo is no exception!
To add to the excitement of this month's challenge, my favorite 'garden' flower features. Plumeria or Frangipani as I know it. It grows beautifully here in the UAE because of the very hot and humid climate. If you ask me how holiday smells, I will say it smells like Frangipani!
My card inspired by the photo looks like this:
A closer look:
I used my Zig markers to create the watercolor smooshed background . I used the same technique to add color to the flowers from the Adore you stamp set.
When the BG dried off, I added the small splatters with the Snowing stamp and Faded Jeans distress ink.
Also adding my link to the SPRING challenge at Inkspirational challenges.
If you follow me on Instagram, you may remember this photo I shared some time ago... Love the perfect simplicity of this little flower!
Thanks for visiting me today!
Enjoy the weekend 🌼
Hugs

I remember the fragrance of plumeria flowers in Hawaii. We don't have them here in Minnesota (too cold, I guess), but I hope to go back to Hawaii one day to enjoy them again. Your card is so pretty. The watercolor background is beautiful.
Stunning creation Hannelie and so perfectly reflects the frangipani. I have a huge frangipani tree in my front yard as do most of my neighbours. They florish in our climate too. Mine is the white with yellow but I am thinking of adding the pink and yellow as it is so stunning. I love the smells and yes they do make you think of hoildays.
Love how you did the wash and flicks around your flowers, truly beautiful card.
Oh my goodness!! You totally ROCKED this challenge!! I LOVE the smooshed background and the pretty way you colored the Plumeria. STUNNING design!!
Beautiful with your creative background and subtle coloring of the flowers. The flowers in the photo hardly look real. Hot and humid produces the most exquisite flowers.
Gorgeous card....such beautiful flowers.
Your beautiful smooshed background is perfect for your softly watercolored gorgeous blooms. Love your sentiment too. TFS Hannelie...hugs..
Wow, gasp, sigh, Hannelie ... what a beautiful card ... softly smooshed and simply splendid! I'm not on Instagram so didn't see these frangipani blooms ... thanks for sharing here too, they're gorgeous! Hugs, Anita :)
What a stunning card! I love the mixed background colors and the bold flowers! Thanks for sharing with us at Inkspirational!
