Hi there!
I planned on making a card and ended up with a bonus when I realized there was another easy card in that throw away piece with die cut circles!
Looking at the two cards after I finished it... I like the card with the rescued card stock more!
And the second (bonus card!)
I played with Acrylic paper and Faber Castell soft pastels to create the rainbow stripes.
Sentiments created in the Silhouette studio.
My cards were inspired by :
Muse card club ~ Inspired by Tracey's rainbow & circles
Addicted to CAS ~ Rainbows
Cas-ual fridays ~ Rainbows
Seize the birthday ~ No topping
Happy little stampers ~ April CAS Blending
Thanks for visiting me today!
Hugs

Both these cards are gorgeous, Hannelie! The texture on the paper adds so much interest while still keeping both cards CAS.
We were clearly channelling the pastel rainbow together today! Love how you used the positive and negative portions of your panel! Thanks for joining us at Muse this week!
Love the soft colors with the black words, nice contrast!
How pretty are your cards!! I really like how you created the paper and using the negative as well as the positive? WOW!! You sure got a lot of challenges in these two cards!!
Gorgeous cards and I love the colors. Isn't it great to be able to create a bonus card with remnants!
Hannelie I love your use of pastels and the gorgeous texture you created. Love how you were inspired. Thank you for sharing with us at Muse this week!
Love the soft texture on the card stock Hannalie!
I so love these cards. Your creative take on all those rainbow challenges is so inspirational!
Fantastic cards, Hannelie. Love the texture look and the soft rainbow colors.
Love these cards, Hannilie. Both are awesome. Have a great day!
Your DIY rainbow paper is so pretty and the use of it masterful as always!!! Both are fabulous, but I love the first one more as it is more attractive for me with the added dimension :)! Thanks for linking this up at Seize the Birthday! Have a wonderful week, Hannelie!
Well, you just never know, do you? Two fabulous cards with that beautiful pastel rainbow background. I'll have to look up acrylic paper. Another item I'm not familiar with.
So resourceful and two great cards! I love the texture of the subtle rainbow effect and they both look great with the contrasting black.
Thanks so much for playing along at Happy Little Stampers and Muse, Anita x
Love your sweet pastel rainbow and how fun to get 2 cards out of your supplies!
There's nothing better than getting another fantastic card out of your leftovers, Hannelie. I love the texture the pencils give.
Both cards are lovely, but I think I like the second one just a squidge more. Somehow those white circles make the soft rainbow colors a bit more pronounced.
Gorgeous contrast between the black and the softly inked, beautifully colored backdrops! GORGEOUS textured paper!
OMG Hannelie...I LOVE both your rainbow circle cards. Such soft rainbow colors that look great with your bold black silhouette cut sentiments. TFS Hugs...
RhOoo juste fabuleuses cartes !!
Bises ♥
The soft pastels on that wonderful textured paper are fabulous, Hannelie ... couldn't choose a favourite between these two beauties ... they're both gorgeous! Hugs, Anita :)
I really, really love these cards!
Wow Hannelie, the subtle effect of the colour blend here is simply beautiful!
As stunning a card as ever!
Thanks for joining in the fun at Happy Little Stampers!
