I used Natures treasures from UNIKO Studio to fill the negative space I created by cutting a cross with my Silhouette cameo.

The sentiment is digital ( Font : Halleluja regular)

I added pops of green with enamel dots.

Thinking of you

Hi there!

Since the day I bought the die I used for today's card, I wanted to make this card ! When I saw the inspiration at Muse Card club this week, I knew it was time to go on and make it! I love how it turned out and I want to try it again soon, using blue/purple hues. For today I tried pinks and purples :)

hydrangea card with Fri-Dies 4 petal die

A closer look:

hydrangea card with Fri-Dies 4 petal die

The die I mentioned is the 4 petals die from Casual Fridays. Every time I look at this little flower I see a Hydrangea.

I smooshed a piece of watercolor paper with different shades of pink and purple (zig markers)

I then stamped the snowing stamp from Altenew randomly all over and die cut a bunch of both sizes from the 4 petal die.

I then added the die cut leaves from Upsy daisy by My Favorite things which were cut from green watercolor smooshed paper.

The flowers were finished off with a tiny punched centre.

Muse card club ~ Caseing Sonja's beautiful card using the same layout and creating my flower focal point with dies instead of a stamp.

CASology : Text

Hi there!

Time for new inspiration with this week's cue card at CASology !

My card:

And up close:

I used a text template from The Pixelscrapper. I opened the image in the Silhouette studio, cropped a circle from it , enlarged it and printed it on my card base. I then cut a magnifying glass with my cameo and used it to frame the enlarged portion of the text. I also created the birthday sentiment (Font: Impact Label) in the studio, printed and cut it out, and popped it up with foam squares on the card.

YAY... it's your birthday!

Hi there!

Almost through March... but I decided to make one more card using the beautiful inspiration picture Virginia provided this month @  ALTENEW.

A closer look:

Quite impossible to not use the vibrant colors of the photo ... and once again I tried to capture the happiness exuded by the ladies on the photo!

I used

  • Two of the sentiments from the small Celebrate set, and flowers and leaves from the Adore you stamp set.
  • Color inks form Avery Elle, and Ranger (Adirondack brights) and Versafine Onyx Black ink.
  • Misti
Also entering:

Seize the birthday ~ No topping

CASualfridays ~ No dies

CAS(e) this sketch #214

Hi there!

If you're looking for sketch inspiration... I have this week's CAS(e) this sketch to share with you!

My card:

A closer look:

A card designed in the Silhouette studio. Not sure about the source of the branch and birds cutting file... it's been in my library for a while.

The font I used for the sentiment is called: DJB Upstairs at the Abbey.

So glad I got to use some washi tape for the BG ( I gathered quite a stash over time 😆)

My card was inspired by the following challenges:

Time out challenges ~ Caseing Jenny (inspired by the home theme / bird house, but added graphic elements of dots and stripes by using washi tape instead of a blended BG)

Less is more ~ Washi Tape

AAA cards ~ Die Cuts

CASology : Melt

Hi there!

It's Tuesday again and time for a new cue card at CASology !

I went for the melting heart option :)

A closer look:

The heart was cut from a clip art image I traced in the Silhouette studio. I layered it 3 times and used the watercolor smooshing technique (With Zig Markers) .

                                                                                       ðŸ’œðŸ’œðŸ’œ

And another card with the same design, just using the 'stencil' that was left over after die cutting the heart for the first card :

A closer look:

The name of the font I used for the "you" is called Clickbait and is available in the Silhouette store : Design ID #179512

Just click the links listed below for lots more inspiration :)

I used color inspiration from Just us girls and technique inspiration from Inkspirational challenge

Make a wish!

Hi there!

I dreamed this card last night when I couldn't sleep... and just needed to see if I could make my dream come true this morning... and it actually turned out the way I hoped it would! A great way to start the week 😀

I used 2 sets from Uniko Studio

~ The tea cup from the I love tea set.
~ Flowers and sentiment from Pure florals cosmos.

I stamped the cup on the card base with Versafine black on watercolor paper using my Misti , and made a little incision to place the largest flowers partially inside the cup.

I then stamped the smaller flowers and used my Pix scan mat to 'fussy cut' the flowers with my Silhouette.
Finally added color using my Zig markers and adhered the flowers to the card with small squares of foam tape.

CAS(e) this sketch #213

Hi there!

So happy to pop in and share my take on this week's CAS(e) this sketch with you!

Here it is... totally inspired by the little drops on Chrissy's sketch... but no raindrops here 😂

A closer look:

I used one of the emoji's (die by Spellbinders) , and completed the 'oops' with Silhouette cut letters.

Very QACAS for today!

How will you be inspired... I am excited to see!

CASology : Foliage

Hi there!

Tuesday is CASology day!

This week we invite you to play along with the FOLIAGE cue card!

I hope my card will inspire you to play along!

A closer look:

I used a Monstera leaf cutting file from APEX Cuttables. If you are looking for beautiful cutting files.....................and daily freebies.......................... go click the link ⬆ 😃

I started off by sizing the leaf just a bit bigger than my card's dimensions, then cropped it to fit my card front.

I used white card with splatters which I created with Artmate spray paint I bought at a local stationery shop.
To finish off the card I added a sentiment which was partially cut with my silhouette and the rest printed and layered over gold sparkly washi tape and vellum.

I created a digi stamp sentiment... as always you are welcome to download and use on your projects :)

Fonts used:
Catandra Script
Dream orphans

You make me smile

Hi there!

Back to clean and simple after yesterday's card, but still in a masking and water coloring mood
though 😊

Casual Fridays pretty Posies

A closer look:

Casual Fridays pretty Posies

A very simple one layer card using the leaf  & sentiment stamp from the Pretty posies set by Casual Friday stamps.

I stamped with Versamark black ink, and water colored the pretty leaves with my Zig markers on Daler Rowney watercolor paper.

To finish off the card I stamped a couple of dots with a stamp from the Wall flower set , also by Casual Friday stamps.

Time out challenges ~ Love/friendship (not playing the twist this time :)
