Hi there!
Since the day I bought the die I used for today's card, I wanted to make this card ! When I saw the inspiration at Muse Card club this week, I knew it was time to go on and make it! I love how it turned out and I want to try it again soon, using blue/purple hues. For today I tried pinks and purples :)
A closer look:
The die I mentioned is the 4 petals die from Casual Fridays. Every time I look at this little flower I see a Hydrangea.
I smooshed a piece of watercolor paper with different shades of pink and purple (zig markers)
I then stamped the snowing stamp from Altenew randomly all over and die cut a bunch of both sizes from the 4 petal die.
I then added the die cut leaves from Upsy daisy by My Favorite things which were cut from green watercolor smooshed paper.
The flowers were finished off with a tiny punched centre.
Muse card club ~ Caseing Sonja's beautiful card using the same layout and creating my flower focal point with dies instead of a stamp.

These flower dies are perfect for a hydrangea! Love the pinks and greens together, too! Your smooshed petals and leaves are so lovely. Even with the pretty blossom, it retains its CAS look, too. Absolutely gorgeous card! Bev
These dies make a lovely hydrangea. Beautiful card.
This is so pretty. I love the different shades of pink with the splashes of deeper colours. Also so lovely how you layered up withing the frame. So good to see you at HLS
Ohhhh, very pretty! That's a lot of die cutting, but at least you can cut two flowers at once. It makes a most beautiful hydrangea bloom!
Just so pretty and must have taken you a while to arrange all those individual flowers!! Well worth it though :)

Oh I LOVE the pink hydrangeas!! The smooshed paper looks fabulous and the little dots of color inside the flowers is wonderful. Beautiful design!
Gorgeous die cut and smooshed 4 petals flowers for your hydrangea image. Love your color choices too Hannelie. TFS all the links also. Hugs..
Drop-dead gorgeous, Hannelie! Love this one SO much! I'm going to pin it so I don't forget this beauty. Hope you don't mind if I CASE it later. :)
As a lover of hydrangeas, I'm over the moon about this beautiful creation, Hannelie! Just WOW!! Hugs, Darnell

What a gorgeous card, Hannilie. I love the colors, the flower die, and the spatters with the cut out circle. So pretty. Have a great day!

Oh Hannelie, this is simply fabulous. The color is gorgeous and the texture is fabulous.
Yep...you nailed it! This die TOTALLY screams hydrangea (my favorite blossom!) Love the pink & lime green color combo! The purple backdrop creates a striking contrast with the colors on your card :)
Awwww, such a wonderful card, Hannelie! Totally love how you were inspired by my Muse card. And I'm so glad it finally made you use the die the way you originally imagined!
