Tuesday and it's time for a new cue card at CASology !
How will you be inspired this week?... I can't wait to see!
I picked design elements associated with a super hero and made this birthday card... for my hubby... who is celebrating his birthday today !
a closer look:
All design work was done in the Silhouette studio.
I used the letters "Z" and "U" from the dingbat font called Talk to create the explosion and cloud shapes.
I filled the explosion shaped with polka dots and cut the cloud from yellow card stock.
The "BAM" part of the sentiment were printed and cut using the font Jackpot.
I colored it with a blue Promarker and added the birthday phrase banner (Font : Mark my words )
I created a similar digital sentiment to share with you. Feel free to download for personal use :)

Wow Hannelie! Such a super card that perfectly captures the mood of a superhero comic book.
This makes me laugh! It so often feels like that too - BAM - another year whizzes by without anyone noticing, and suddenly you are hit with another birthday! So different to when you were a kid! ;-) Love the strong, bold colours, and the polka dots!!
Joe, ek kan nie glo dis alweer 'n week sedert ek laas by jou gekuier het nie!!!!! Ek was besig met naaldwerk van laas week af en oor die naweek, so ek het nie veel tyd in Blogland spandeer nie!!!!! Ek is darem nou weer by met alles op die rekenaar!!!! Ek probeer regtig hard om by te bly met alles en sover gaan dit heel goed!!!! Hoop ek kan dit volhou!!!!
Het manlief verjaar!!???? Baie geluk aan hom en verseker het jy sy hart warm laat klop met jou hero-kaartjie!!!! Baie, baie oulik en slim gedoen so met die verskillende fonts en die kleure en polka dots waarmee jy gespeel het - jy bly nou maar net eenmaal 'n meester met daai silhoette!!!! Sommer baie mal oor die een, vrou!!!
