Under the mistletoe

Hi there!

Another Christmas card!

A closer look:

The plaid making experiment :)

After I created the striped background for this card, I wanted to try creating my own plaid hand drawn background with markers.

Although I forgot to draw the darker green line I did in the experiment , I still like the way it turned out on my card.

The mistletoe image is from Apex Cuttables.

It is part of a set of 4 beautiful images . You can find it here.

I colored it with my Promarkers and popped it up on my hand drawn plaid background.

Finished off the card with a stamped sentiment. (Sizzix)

Gorgeous card...love your plaid (both with the green and without!).

Experiencing MAJOR computer issues so I've been MIA since I got back from the Lakehouse! Ready to fire the computer and our internet provide out the door! Have spent hours with 'them' trying to figure out what is wrong! Things might be looking up because I have actually been able to connect to a few blogs! So, I took a lovely stroll through all your amazing projects that I missed...my absolute fav is the Christmas card with the little glittery gold Christmas tree with the Happy Christmas greeting!

My sincere apologies pal! Fingers (or Ginfers as Darnell would say) crossed that Manitoba Telephone can figure this out fast!!!

Mooi hoe jij die achtergrond (eigenlijk eenvoudig) maakte! Weer een goed en effectief idee! Een mooie kaart zo! Vanuit een nattig en grijs Nuenen: Fijn weekend verder!

Love the plaid, Hannelie, and it looks wonderful behind the mistletoe. I think it may be easier to make plaid with markers than with stamps.
