I just love it when my favorite challenges allign and provide inspiration to design!
A close up of the detail on the leaf.
I took this photo in the sun to show off the gold metal background, and was so impressed with the little lens flare on the rhinestone, I had to include it ☺
The leaf was cut with my Silhouette cameo using watercolor paper. I scribbled with my zig markers on a piece of acetate (orange, yellow, brown) .
Spritzed with water and swooshed the leaf through the paint/water mixture.
I gave it time to dry a little, and then repeated the process with orange and brown without water.
When it was completely dry, I stamped the leaf with a text background (unknown origin) using Vintage photo distress ink.
Finished the leaf off with a spritz of Dazzle (Dye spray with a dash of sparkle, made by Enmarc)
I layered it over a gold craft metal rectangle die cut and added the sentiment (Casual Friday's Wonderful words) and rhinestones.
