Hi there!
I hope you are doing great on this beautiful Wednesday!
I have a card to share with you which was inspired by 3 challenges:
A close up to show the dry embossing on the butterfly wings :
The background panel was stamped with the TIN ROOF stamp by CASual Friday stamps.
The sentiment is also from CASual Fridays, PRETTY POSIES set.
I colored it with turquoise & lilac Promarkers for the Less is more color challenge and dry embossed the Vellum Butterfly (Silhouette cut) with the Celebrate embossing folder from Couture creations for the CAS challenge at Happy little stampers and the CAS challenge at Addicted to stamps challenge.
A little tip when you dry emboss vellum: Vellum tends to tear or crack when you emboss it, so I used a piece of lightweight card stock, folded in half, and placed the vellum inside the folder before running it through my big shot. You still get a good impression, without tearing and you also end up with a spare piece of embossed card stock!
Thanks for visiting me today!
Hugs
Hannelie

I love this card, so clean and stylish. The embossing on the butterfly's wings looks great, and that background stamp is just divine! Thanks so much much for playing with us at Less is More :)
Love those colours! The embossed butterfly & bling centre is very pretty!
Pretty color combo! I really like that wee bit of lavender on the flowers. Pretty butterfly, too!
Great tip about embossing vellum, will have to remember that one as I tried it once and never again after it fell apart. Love the colours of your card and that Tin Roof stamp is one of my favourites. Always lovely to see you at ATSM!!
