One of my favorite challenges is back after Summer, and I couldn't resist the gorgeous rainbow inspiration photo they have this week!
Yes it's The card concept !
As most of my cards, this one falls in the clean and simple graphic category.
Simon says stamp Wednesday challenge has a CAS challenge going on this week, adding my link there as well :)
I used only (Silhouette) die cuts so am adding my link to the Happy little stampers anything goes with dies challenge.

I designed the cutting file in the Silhouette studio ( I use the Designer edition).
I started off with one large circle and used the internal offset function to create the smaller circles. I copied the stack of offset circles, rotated 45 degrees, and cropped it to a rectangular shape. I then cut every ring in a different rainbow color. I glued it to the card base and added the sentiment, cut in black and layered it over an offset cut from vellum.
The sentiment is this week's free file from the Silhouette online store Design ID #150293. I only used the 'hello' part of it.
Enamel dots to finish off the design.

I love your rainbow circles, but I REALLY love that sentiment with a vellum shadow. I definitely need to use vellum more. Every time I see it on a card, I am reminded of the difference it can make in a design.

This is so graphic and so FUN! I really need to use my Silhouette more - thanks to you I now know that there's so much you can do with it! And the black sentiment layered on top of vellum is a fantastic look.
