Hi there!
There is something about a card with a bicycle on it that steels my heart. Time after time! Don't know why, but it's just a fun element to use !
I remember my high school days, riding my bicycle to school on COLD Winter's mornings and windy and HOT Summer afternoons. That wasn't so much fun though... but I still have the calves to show after all these years ;)
Needless to say , I had so much fun designing and making this card to inspire you to join the challenge at the paper players this week!
Here it is:
As always I saved my sentiment for those who may want to use it.
You can find more sentiments under the free sentiment labels in my sidebar, or on my Pinterest board "my card sentiments".
The girl on her bicycle is a free clipart image I found here. I traced it in the Silhouette studio to convert it to a cutting file.
I added my own sentiment and used patterned paper from Mel Stamps (link in sidebar).
I am playing along a couple of other challenges:
Freshly made sketches ~ Sketch flipped to portrait orientation.
Color throwdown ~ Yellow, navy and white
Inkspirational challenges ~ Vehicle
Thanks for visiting me today!
Hope to see you play along!
Hannelie

Totally agree...there really is something heart warming about a card with a bicycle! Perhaps it's the happy 'days gone by' memories that it conjures up ???

Love this one! There is something special about a happy silhouette, like this. It allows us to put an image of ourselves onto your card (in our imaginations, of course!).
I just love this silhouette image and the gorgeous colors you used on your card! PERFECT! XX
Groete

Gorgeous card, Hannelie. I always love silhouettes and one of a bike is just perfect. Love the whimsical feeling from the image and the polka dots just add to the fun. LOVE it!
Love this Hannelie. I agree, there's something about a bicycle.... maybe a reminder of youth (in my case anyway)... :)
This is beautiful! Wonderful display of the silhouette against that yellow pattern! Thanks for sharing with us at Inkspirational!
