When I look at the card I am sharing today, it doesn't feel as if it comes from my craft room !
I don't know why, maybe because it's a more 'complicated' design, or maybe it's because the focal point is a colored butterfly. Despite all this, I like the way it turned out :)
If you follow me on Instagram, this is the butterfly I started coloring for #thedailymarker30day challenge a couple of days ago !
The butterfly is from Stamperia. I stamped it in Versafine onyx black, and colored it with Derwent Inktense color pencils ( no water added ).
I stamped the butterfly several times on the card base and left it uncolored.
The follow your dreams banner was created digitally, and the dreams sentiment cut with my Silhouette Cameo and also colored with pencil, before removing it from the cutting mat, just to make things a bit easier. (font : Albemarle)
The layout was inspired by the sketch at Retro sketches:

Ja, bietjie anders as wat ons gewoonlik hier sien, vrou, maar dit is ongelooflik mooi!!! Daai skoenlapper is asemrowend en absoluut soooo perfek ingekleur en hy lyk eenvoudig lieflik!!! En ek is mal oor die idee om die skoenlappers so op die basis te stempel dat dit so 'n baie mooi en interressante randjie maak!!! Die sentiment lyk wonderlik op die swart strook so saam met die gesnyde woord!!! Die fyn swart lyntjie links en die sequins en pereltjies is net so perfek om die prentjie volmaak te voltooi!!! Dis verseker 'n wenner hierdie, vrou!!! Wat 'n besondere kaartjie en absoluut pragtig!!!

Funny, my first thought was "layers?" But well done. Really love your coloring.
Stunning! A very successful venture down a seldom travelled path! The butterfly is stunning...and so is your coloring! Love the 'dream' image! I'm so impressed with how well your machine cuts the fine swrils! Mine seems to gobble up the paper even with a new blade and cutting mat! Love the font - will be adding that to my next Silouette order!
