Runway inspired #94

Hi there!

With the first glance at the inspiration for this fortnight's challenge at  Runway inspired , I only saw a lot of white lace, and thought... "oh my where shall I start!"

Design inspiration came in the form of teeny tiny little details after zooming in on the image!

The golden zipper and AMAzing pale pink platform shoes put me on the right track!

My card inspired by the photo above:

The beautiful lace outfit is represented by the white vellum Silhouette cut flower.

The golden strip of paper behind the flower was inspired by the golden zipper, and the pale pink dots represent the shoes the model is wearing.

A black sentiment to finish off the card and inspired by the black from the decor in the back.

I love this challenge, because it's one of those challenges which involves both sides of your brain. Analysing the picture with your left brain, and then putting the information together again in a creative and appealing way to create a card, using your creative right brain!

Thanks for visiting me today!

Wow! I think I would have put it in the too hard basket and not thought of zooming in. Very clever Hannelie.

Your card is beautiful! I'm certain you use both sides of your brain, but me? I'm pretty sure I only use a small portion on the back side. And I don't think that little bit works properly!! ha ha Thanks for talking about how you go about figuring out an inspirational image and what you want to do with it. Its truly helpful to card makers like me. :)

Lovely card Hannelie, that Vellum flower steals the show!!!
I was a little hesitant to participate on this challenge but that wedding gown just stole my heart!! I don't know if I'm a right brain or left brain person, all I know is that I'm the kind of person that will try just about anything at least once. From this photo, the first thing I noticed was the golden zipper and I thought "WOW!! they gave the humble zipper some really awesome bling!!"
Anyway, thank you for sharing your gorgeous card.
Hugs,
Maria Rodriguez.
