Hi there!
It's Thursday... that means there's a new sketch for you to try at Case this sketch !
Here's my take on N@Ali's sketch:
Just like this card, the poppy image I used can be found in the Silhouette on line store, as a cutting file. But... once again, when used on the scale suitable for a card, there's just too much small detail to make a proper clean cut. This time I picked the solid (black) fill option, printed the image and applied an offset cutting line to cut out the poppies. After cutting it out, I gave it subtle color with my promarkers, and dimension by adhering foam tape to the back.
The sentiment is from Miss Kate cuttables. I used it as a digital stamp, the same way as I described for the poppies.
I am adding my link to the current Fusion card challenge, using the inspiration photo. Also adding my link to the anything goes challenge at Simon says stamp.
I can't wait to see what you create with the sketch this week!
Thanks for visiting me today :)

I love the poppies! Very nice card! Can I come learn all your tricks on the Silhouette?
Every time I see one of your cards, I think it's the prettiest one yet...and then you make another!! This card is fabulous, love how you combined several challenges!
What a perfectly stunning card Hannelie! I LOVE that you used a bit of the same poppy image as the banner in the sketch. Perfectly crisp and clean in black and white!

Very classy card. Loving the layout and the subtle colours. Great image x
Another gorgeous "You & Your Silhouette" project. I love the subtle mauve/purple shading!
Your stamps work beautifully with the design, and that sentiment is wonderful. It all works together for a perfect card!
Wow such a pretty card. Love the black and white plus the simplicity of your card.
In my mind, sympathy cards should be CAS. The bereaved are hurting and need a simple, elegant statement of love and sympathy. Your card meets this need perfectly. It's beautiful.
Nooit zo leuk aks je deze kaarten nodig hebt, maar zo´n mooie is dan wel een persoonlijke troost... Groetjes, Gerrina
I'm totally impressed with this CAS beauty, Hannelie. I would have sworn it was a stamped image, but no, once again you worked your Silhouette magic.
Silhouette needs you on their DT. I'm so inspired by your work with it! And how beautiful is this card??!! The subtle coloring is perfect; not too much, not too little, just right! I'm going to have to give this technique a try, too. Brilliant card. Have a great weekend, my friend. Bev
so classy! Love that you placed some flowers upside down on the right side!
I agree about losing detail when sizing down on the Silhouette~I LOVE what you did with it here. Great idea~
Joe, daai poppies is soooo mooi, vrou en jy het dit so pragtig subtiel ingekleur!!! Die sentiment lyk regtig mooi!!!! Jy het so goed gedoen met die skets - ek wonder nog waar om te begin!!!!

Hello Hannelie: Your card is so beautiful and so classy, I love how you shaded this pretty flowers in that subtle, plum color, just gorgeous.
You can do some kind of wonderful magic with your Silhouette.

Clever take on the sketch! I love the B&W color palette and how you added a hint of color to the poppies! Another gorgeous card!!!
Never would believe it is a print image, Hannelie!!! Never ever! Looks so stamped :) Awesome card!
LOVE your use of this sketch - the bit of flower dropping from the top is a beautiful look. The subtle colors and all of the white space make it so perfect for a sympathy card.
