Happy birthday to Cas-ual Fridays!

Hi there!

It feels good to be back with my first 'live' blog post in almost 2 months !

It's really been a roller coaster kind of time, with some real highs and lows. The high being our lovely holiday in Cape town, and the low being my journey to try and put an end to the migraines that rules  ruled my life.

No better way to recover than to start getting creative again !

The card I am sharing today is one to celebrate the 4th birthday of one of the first CAS challenges in blogland. THE challenge blog which convinced me that CAS is the way to go!

It could only be : Cas-ual fridays , where the challenge is to use the lovely colors of the blog banner in a birthday themed project.

If you are  regular visitor you will know that I love to play with negative space in cut outs. And this is exactly what I did here with a gift cutting file from the Silhouette online store.
I created the gift paper by punching out orange dots and adding small black rhinestones .  Glitter was added for some sparkle for this special occasion .

My own digital sentiment to complete the project.

Nothing much to the sentiment, but maybe someone might be able to use it ;)

Thanks so much for visiting me today !

I'm so glad you're up to crafting again! I've suffered from Cluster Headaches all my life and went to a doctor from Johns Hopkins for treatment. I feel your pain! Your card is awesome, as usual. I really enjoy seeing what you create next!

So sorry to read that you struggle with migraines. A friend, as well as my stepdaughter, also suffer from them. They can be so terribly debilitating, and I hope you have found an answer to keep yours at bay. Love your card today. You make negative space look so "positive!"

Hannelie, I love your card. So simple, so sweet.
I can sympathise with you. I have battled with chronic migraines for over 10 years now with some weeks loosing 3 to 4 days. To wake in the morning in the normal hours with no pain is simply wonderful, rare but wonderful.
I hope you get the relief you crave.
Cheers Aileen

Groete
