Freshly made thanks!

Hi there!

Have you seen the fabulous sketch by Karren at Freshly made sketches this week?!

I just couldn't decide what to do with the inspiration... and then decided to look at it in a fresh ;) way, by creating negative space to place my focal point, the sentiment. I added some washi tape beneath the top panel as a substitute for the twine as shown in the sketch.

This is what it looks like:

I used my Silhouette to cut out the window and sentiment.

Font used dear Joe. After typing the letters, I 'ungrouped' it, moved it back to overlap, and welded everything together. LOVE this font!

Thanks for looking!

Enjoy the weekend!

Genius! I love how you interpreted my sketch. You inspire me to actually use my Silhouette rather than just look at it :)

Een heel mooie uitwerking van de schets in prachtige kleuren. Goed idee die washi tape en de enamel dots gecombineerd met de tekst!

Leaving the edge of the rectangle open looks so cool! It's all these little things that you change or add to a sketch that make your cards stand out! Fabulous, fun colors and really cool washi tape!
