Hi there!
The cue word this week at Casology is PURPLE!
A color I usually associate with a sympathy card. I wanted to see if I could use the color in a different way. By adding a sentiment in gold and sequence as embellishment , I think it changes the 'feeling' of the purple... to something more festive, suitable for a birthday.
The font I used to cut my sentiment is called 'Lobster two' . After cutting it, I remove it and colored it with a gold marker and glued it back in position.
That's it!
Thanks for visiting me today!

I love the gold and purple combo, never thought this combo would look so amazing :)
Funny, I think of it as a sympathy colour too! I've been researching, and it's considered a 'half-mourning' colour. I love the fun way you've placed your sentiment! Thanks so much for joining us at CASology!
Oooh, love the purples and gold! And the layout is awesome. :)
Lovely, purple is a favorite of mine,

Wow! I love that you used 2 shades of purple for this card, and your gold sentiment is just beautiful, Hannelie! Love the angles and stitch lines, too!
This is fab, love the two shades of purple and your use of stitched mats. Thank you so much for joining us this week at CASology
A fabulous layout Hannelie, I love the purple and gold.
Baie oulik!!
Groete
