The sketch at case this sketch this week had me thinking... outside the box, I hope!
Something that's peeking out of something... this is what I came up with:
A side view to show the chevron (de)bossing:
I used my silhouette's print and cut function to create my focal point, and colored the image with promarkers.

This is just darling, Hannelie! The coloring on the apple is perfect, (and on the little guest too!). Perfectly set off by the debossed panel, and the red mat. Great card!! Bev

Dit is so oulik Hannelie. Daardie rooi appel met die wurm "pop" behoorlik op die pragtige wit agtergrond. Ook baie mooi ingekleur.

LOL! Brilliant take on the sketch. That worm is adorable (never thought I'd say that about an invertebrate...) and that chevron embossing is fabulous!

I was so pleased to see your card had an honourable mention at CTS.... love that glossy red apple and cute worm :0) The debossing looks amazing, I have that folder and never think to use the panel the other way round!!!
