Make a wish

Hi there!

Yes this is number 3!

My third and last take on cas-ualfridays sketch for this week!

I wanted to use a dandelion on a card for so long now... I don't have a stamp of one, so I used  clip art on this one... just rotated the image to fit the sketch and added the sentiment in MS word.
I punched a few holes around the stem and tacked a ribbon through it. Finished off with a little bow and pearl.

Make the best of every moment

Hi there!

I am so exited today to be guest designer at craft your days away! Thank you for the great opportunity!

The theme for this week's challenge is Autumn.

I used a digi from digi my world , called "pile of leaves". I coloured it with Promarkers - quite a challenge I must admit, to compliment all the glorious colours of Autumn!
It looks to me as if this girl is making the best of every moment of this splendid season!

I thought I'd share the sentiment I made for this card with you once again. Feel free to take it if you think you can use it somewhere! Would you be so kind to link back to where you found it?

A special day

Hi there!

Die cuts must be one of the most versatile tools in the craft room! Either by using the negative of it or by cutting it up, and using only a small part of it!

I made this card by digitally stamping this mandala and a sentiment on the plain white textured card stock, and
framing the image with a flower die cut.

I finished it of with the corners cut off from another die cut, and attached some string. Added a die-cut button for the flower's center.

Once again... the sentiment I made is yours  - if you like it  - feel free to use it . A link back to this post would be appreciated ;-)

Polka dot butterfly

Hi there!

Sharing my card for less is more challenge 38. The theme being "polka dots" - just couldn't resist!
I ♥ Polka dots!
I used the negative of the butterfly die cut (frame) for the one wing, and the actual butterfly wing on the other side.I layered it over a circle of bigger polka dots. So easy!
Finished it off with a stamped sentiment in Afrikaans saying  :  "for you only" .

Circles

Hi there!

Weekend already here in my part of the world! Means even more time to be creative!

The background I used in today's card is a digital template (or stamp) from the pixelscrapper.

With the only 'image' on my card being the circles in my background... I decided to colour them according to the challenge at cas-ualfridays.

I printed it and selectively coloured the circles with 'pumpkin',' lime green' and 'amethyst' promarkers (the colours for the the hybrid chick colour challenge)

Often with colour challenges, I find it so difficult to find the perfect colour , therefore the decision to colour my own!

Theme inspired by scrapbook sisters ~ circles
Layout inspired by just-add-ink ~ sketch

I had so much fun creating the sentiment, that I decided to share it with you. Feel free to use it on your projects, and if you do, a link back to where you found it, would be nice!
I will share some new ones in the future too!

Just click on the image, then right click and save where you want it. Can be re-sized an coloured in MS Word.

U R UNIQUE!

Hi there!

I am always on the look out for inspiration to use on my cards - new, fresh ideas, something unusual!

I hope you can see this on today's card!

A while ago , while busy stamping with black ink, my fingers got all messy and when I touched a piece of white paper ... I got the inspiration for today's card!

Isn't it amazing to think that no 2 person's on earth were created with the same fingerprint!

The fingerprint I used on my card is however not a inky one, it's a digital  'stamped' one and the brackets created in MS Word using 'times new roman' size 150.
The sentiment was created with Print Artist.

I think it will be a great card to tell someone how special you think he/she is.

Always there when I need you

Hi there!

A quick card I made this morning!

I love paper piecing and wanted to give it center stage in my card. I used a Tim Holtz embossing folder with a wood grain and paper pieced the stem of the tree. I punched a leaf and embossed it with a cuttlebug embossing folder to give it the effect of veins in the leaf, added it to the tree.

The squirrel was coloured with promarkers

Challenges:

creative inspirations paint ~ CAS
Stamp scrap and doodle ~ anything with leaves

Thanks for your visit!
