CASology : Chevron

Hi there!

CASology Time!

I used chevrons to create a background for a sentiment only card:

I created the BG in the Silhouette studio.

I used a solid line chevron shape as a starting point. Instead of cutting straight lines, I used the rhinestone setting which transforms straight lines to dotted lines for the use with rhinestones. A function of the Designer edition of the studio I love to use, not necessarily for rhinestones!

I added color behind the top panel to create a ombre effect, and added a Silhouette cut sentiment (design ID  #46981) and completed the sentiment with a computer generated sentiment.

My teammates are ready to inspire you:

AAA card challenge Guest designer: TAGS

Hi there!

I am delighted to join the talented team at AAA Cards today as guest designer !

I created a rainbow tag for my card:

A closer look:

After die cutting the tag, I stamped the black lines with a border stamp from the Artsy-Border-Maker set by Stamplorations.

I colored the stripes with my Promarkers in rainbow colors.

I then stamped the tiny sentiments from a Casual Friday set called  Truth is, and added a bow that was cut with my Silhouette cameo.

Before popping it up with foam tape on the card base, I stamped black polka dots with a BG stamp from Stamperia.

To finish of the design I added a computer generated 'you're' to compliment the stamped sentiment.

Thanks so much for inviting me to join you as guest designer!

Hugs and thanks for visiting me today!

CAS(e) this sketch #179

Hi there!

Hello Thursday and hello CAS(e) this sketch day!

Chrissy's turn to bring the sketch inspiration!

I found this awesome doodled flower mandala  in an online coloring page .

Printed it on my card base, colored it with promarkers, and added the top layer with an offset aperture.

The sentiment (Design ID #11732) was added to the aperture by using the print and cut function , as well as the welding function.

One single large enamel dot to finish off the design.

I can't wait to see how you are going to use the sketch this week!

Thanks for looking :)
