World Cardmaking Day 2025 with Simon Says Stamp !

 Hi There!

It's the first Saturday of October  and that means it is time again to celebrate our special day of the year !

                                                  🎉🥳WORLD CARDMAKING DAY 🎉🥳

I'm thrilled to spend the day with my friends over at Simon Says Stamp as a proud representative of the United Arab Emirates, the country we've called home for the last 17 years.

To celebrate the day, I made two Christmas cards featuring some of my most loved Simon Says stamp products.

I used :

Two quick and easy cards which can be recreated using different color combinations and background stamps. I have had this large joy die for a couple of years, but for me it will never get old. It makes an appearance every year!

I love the rich texture the Spun Glass embossing folder gives to the gold card stock. The simplicity of this card makes my heart so happy!

These two cards use card recipes I love to use every year to make Christmas cards. Do you have a card recipe you go back to often? I would love to hear from you in the comments below!

Thank you so much for visiting me today and be sure to check out more holiday cardmaking inspiration from card makers all over the world on the Simon Says Stamp blog.

These are beautiful CAS designs Hannelie, and I just adore the padded patchwork look of the first with the added pearls and the aperture on the second with the vellum and pearls looks so pretty against the sentiment covered piece of dp and the large gold 'joy' and gold star on top of the tree finish it perfectly. I mostly use a new things each year but there are always a few of my older things that make an appearance. x
