Two beautiful flowers from the Altenew April 2024 release

I'm catching up in sharing more of the cards I made using products from the April-2024 Altenew release !

First up : Craft-a-flower Anemone Blue Poppy layering die set

To color the petals, I used inks form the Glacier caves fresh dye ink mini cube set, with a touch of Ultraviolet ink and Tropical-forest-mini-cube-set for the leaves. I masked off a diagonal line for the background and applied a light shade of ink to add some subtle interest. The sentiment is from the Bouquet-of-poppies stamp set. I added some Deep-sea-sapphire-gem-sparkles to embellish the card.

To color the petals of the flower I used inks from the Rose-petal-fresh-dye-ink-bundle and Tropical-forest-mini-cube-set greens for the leaves. I used a rectangle die cut frame to mask off a smaller area to preserve some white space. I applied a light layer of Puffy heart ink and with the mask still in place I used the Rustic-linen-stamp-set to stamp the background with Cosmic Berry. The sentiment is from Bold-sentiments-stamp-set, also stamped with Cosmic Berry. The gems are Smoky-quartz-gem-sparkles.
