A touch of oriental

 Hi there!

My Pinterest board Design inspiration is full of ideas I want to try out on cards... and that's what I did today! The card I made this morning was inspired by THIS pin :)

I used :

  • Circle, half circle's and foliage cut with my Silhouette cameo
  • Colored with Distress inks : Peeled paint, Vintage photo, and Dried marigold
  • Background stamp from Kaisercraft called Oriental calligraphy
  • Sentiment stamp from Uniko called Simply Said Blocks
  • Versafine black ink
  • Enamel dots
  • Adhesive foam tape for dimension

Challenge inspiration :

Thanks for visiting me today!

Beautiful, Hannelie! I was wondering if that was a spattered background or Asian calligraphy. And now I know.

This looks great with the half circles and circle at the top of the prettily coloured stack Hannelie, and the black foliage and white on black sentiment works beautifully and complements the oriental calligraphy stamping in the background...love it! x
