Emboss resist - two cards

Hi there!

Emboss resist is like two times the magic... embossing alone is special but when you add color over an embossed area and the embossing pops, that is the time the magic gets amplified ! Now I must confess, I am a lazy crafter and heat emboss very seldom, but after the two cards I made over the weekend, it might change!

For the first card I used :

  • Daffodil Stem Die from Simon Says Stamp
  • Altenew inks
  • Memory Box pinpoint rectangle die
  • Gold card stock

For the second card I used :

  • Alstroemeria Stem Die from Simon Says stamp
  • Zig markers
  • Altenew ink

On both cards I used :

Challenges :

I struggled to decide which card to link up, but settled on the second card :)

Now I want to stamp and blend all my backgrounds! You made these into the sweetest CAS cards, Hannelie!

Two beautiful emboss resist cards Hannelie. Love the text background that really shows up with your sponging and watercolouring over top. The gold daffodil is so pretty over the ombre yellow background. And your gorgeous white flower is lovely over the blue watercoloured swipes of colour. Amazing mix of techniques for both cards. Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up! xx

These are both wonderful Hannelie! I love emboss-resist but tend to make cards quickly in a spare half hour so rarely use embossing. But you are really inspiring me to pull out the embossing basket!! Vicky x

Both your emboss resist cards are such beautiful and very different CAS design, Hannelie. Loved your stamped text and then heat embossed and sponged backgrounds on both your cards. I am so pleased you shared both cards and added the 2nd card to our CAS Mix Up Emboss Resist challenge. Loved the pretty die cut flower and unique sentiment on your 2nd card. TFS..Love and Hugs..Nancy
