Hi there!
I am always looking for ways to reduce my large stack of scrap card stock ... So for this fortnight's Color Hues Challenge, I decided to use a cover plate die and did some die cut inlay work. It is such a fun way to use those scraps and almost feels like building a puzzle!
I used :
- Simon-Says-Stamp-FLORAL-CARD-FRONT-Wafer-Die
- Simon-says-clear-stamps-hibiscus-blooms - Sentiment
- Scraps of purple and green card stock
- Silver glitter paper
- Rhinestones
- Altenew ink (Ultraviolet)
I hope the beautiful color duo will inspire you to play along ... see you in the gallery :)
Thanks for visiting me today!

I love inlaid die cuts and enjoy making them as well. I've never seen this one before and it's a beauty! I love the way the butterfly's wings lift up! Someone's going to be very happy with their birthday card!
Your inlay card is ever so pretty, especially with the shades of purple/green you've chosen and the extra touch of lifting the butterfly's wings. Love it!

Hannelie your butterflies are so pretty! Love the card!
Purple is my favorite color, so I love everything about this card. Fabulous design, Hannelie, and a great way to use those scraps.
How beautiful, Hannelie! What a pretty impact that technique has! I love how you highlighted the butterfly with a different hue.
