Just for you : Alex Syberia Winter Garden Card panel

 Hi there!

I am sharing this card today on the blog over at Alex Syberia . My first post there as part of the creative team !

Alex 's digital stamps really make cardmaking a breeze! They are wonderfully versatile and good value for your money!

There's a new release available in her Etsy Shop now with a wide variety of images perfect for anything from Valentines day to Spring ... and from cute to classy!

I am not very confident in the coloring department. Let's just say I know my strong points and my not so strong points in our hobby... and that's the reason why I always look for alternative ways to add interest and color to my designs. I also know that stripes and flowers work very well together... so here's the card I made for you today!

For those interested in the digital design part of the two panels...

I started off by opening the Winter Garden card panel in the Silhouette Studio.

I then traced the image to get cut lines. I used only the outline of the traced image and created a 1mm offset. After that I designed the sentiment using the fonts Goord & Angelina. I created an offset for the word 'you' and welded it to the frame.

After printing the two panels and cutting it out with my cameo, I lined both panels up, and added the stripes with my Altenew Watercolor Stripe stencil and Altenew inks in : Cotton Candy. Peach Perfect and Mango Smoothie.

I then adhered the upper panel to the lower using foam squares for dimension and I added the 'you', which was cut out with my cameo using black paper.

Sequins were added as final touch!

Thanks for popping in today!

Hannelie
