Hi there!
I just love it when a plan comes together. Or in cardmaking terms, when a design works !
I also love giving new life to old stamps by mixing the old and the new and trying to think outside the box 😊
I used :
Just make sure the dye ink is completely dry before you stamp the black ink over it. I was so exited to see the end result , I had to throw the first attempt away because the black ink bled into the pink 😆
Challenges :
Time out challenges ~ Breast cancer awareness
CASology ~ Feather
Simon says stamp Wednesday challenge ~ Think Pink
Thanks for visiting me today!

I just love it when a plan comes together. Or in cardmaking terms, when a design works !
I also love giving new life to old stamps by mixing the old and the new and trying to think outside the box 😊
I used :
- Feather stamp set - Hero Arts (retired)
- Sentiment - Hero Arts/Studio Calico borders set (retired)
- Altenew inks
- Versafine black ink
- Altenew Dainty Swiss Dots background stamp
- Misti
- Craft foam for dimension
I included a few shots of the process to get the sentiment curved and following the line of the feather.
- In the first photo I closed the lid of the misti, and used washi tape to mark the line on the outside where I wanted to place the sentiment.
- I then opened the lid and curved and placed the sentiment according to the marked line.
- Finally inked and stamped it .
Just make sure the dye ink is completely dry before you stamp the black ink over it. I was so exited to see the end result , I had to throw the first attempt away because the black ink bled into the pink 😆

I just had to stop by to see your cards up close and read about them... so glad I did! Genius method for perfect placement of the sentiment! I haven't talked myself into getting a MISTI yet. I know, I'm the world's last hold out. I love the pretty design of your CAS card!
Beautiful card Hannelie! Thanks for playing along with us on the CASology Challenge blog.
Using washi tape on your Misti to help with placement of your stamp is brilliant! Thanks so much for sharing this tip. Your sentiment stamped perfectly.
Cette carte est absolument superbe tant dans la conception que dans le message qu'elle offre, j'adore !!

Hannelie, this is gorgeous CAS card. I love how you interpret "Think Pink" and "Cancer Awareness" on your card. LOVE it.
What a clever way to get that sentiment stamp so perfectly aligned! Lovely card as usual Hannelie! Thanks for joining us at Time Out!
This is such a terrific card in SOOOO many ways! Love the ombre feather, the curved sentiment (of course), and a powerful sentiment too!
Very nice card. It is great when everything works out the way we envisioned.
Perfect. The feather seems to say: take it easyer, as you feel. A well-defined card to time out.
Simply perfect in every way, Hannelie ... each little detail is just ... well ... perfect! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Time Out! Hugs, Anita :)
I love this! The design with the sentiment along the leaf stem... the hint of polka dots... really stunning!
Thanks for playing at Time Out!
