I love leaves...sometimes they are just as beautiful as flowers. Giant Monstera tropical leaves fascinate me, juicy succulent leaves are amazing too... but this time of the year ... I especially love Maple leaves. The shape of course, but those colors!
Today's maple leaf is in a geometric style, gold and black, using those gorgeous colors in the watercolored background.
I used :
Another 'swiped' background using a credit card , distress oxide inks and spritzed water . Leaf cut twice, colored the top one with a gold paint marker and layered it between the top and bottom layers of the sentiment. Love how it gives a dimensional look to the leaf !

- Geometric autumn leaf from the Silhouette store - Design ID #158041
- Silhouette cameo
- Distress oxide inks : Peeled paint, Spiced Marmalade, Vintage Photo
- Sentiment from Altenew : Label love set
- Foam tape for dimension
- Versafine black ink

We have a maple tree in our backyard that will soon be covered with red leaves. About 1/2 of the tree has changed already. I'm lucky to live in an area with lots of Sugar Maples that look spectacular in the fall. Your card is awesome, and very reminiscent of a Minnesota Autumn.
